NAMM 2008: Top Ten Picks From Winter NAMM Roundup

Here are my personal Top Ten Picks from Winter NAMM 2008. Due to the fact that these choices are from different genres, the picks are in no particular order.

1) URS - Saturation Plug-In

Realistic sounding saturation at a reasonable price? I’ve yet to find a saturation plugin that does the trick for me. Most just make things sound “different” but not necessarily “better”. Given their track record, URS are the ones who can do it.

NAMM 2008: Meet Ernie Balls New Packaging

Ernie Ball revealed it’s new guitar & bass string set packaging at NAMM. It’s hermetically sealed to help with string preservation before you put them on your guitar so ideally they sound better. Normally the last thing I notice is string packaging, but these do look cool. They kinda look like candy.
