Owners of the Pod X3 will be happy to hear that Line 6 has finally released GearBox 3.6! The software features full compatibility with the Pod X3 series and is avaiable now as a free download.

I’ve been waiting for this for a long time and from the small amount of time I’ve spent with it I think it’s been worth the wait. It’s infinitely easier to create dual-tone patches with this software.

Beyond that, if you are still hungry for the V you can dive in head first to the Flyin V website. It’s an excellent site dedicated to the Flying V containing a gallery, vintage ads, schematics, etc. Congratulations Flying V. Here’s to another 50.

Video Demonstration Of The Gibson Robot Guitar

I saw this on TV the other day and wondered if anyone else caught it. It’s a video demo of the new Gibson Robot Guitar. It features the guy from MTV’s old show Singled Out giving a quick overview of the guitar. Gibson Lifestyle

I stumbled across the Gibson Lifestyle portion of the Gibson guitar website the other day and I have to say that I was very impressed. It features video, a blog, podcasts, and a Gibson recommends section with articles about all types of music. Apparently this has been around for a while now and I am just late to the party. If you haven’t seen it yet you should definitely check it out. It doesn’t have that overly corporate vibe about it that some manufacturer sites do and seems to be updated quite frequently.
