Line 6 releases GearBox 3.6 for the Pod X3 series

Owners of the Pod X3 will be happy to hear that Line 6 has finally released GearBox 3.6! The software features full compatibility with the Pod X3 series and is avaiable now as a free download.

I’ve been waiting for this for a long time and from the small amount of time I’ve spent with it I think it’s been worth the wait. It’s infinitely easier to create dual-tone patches with this software.

The Ampeg ADA4 See-Through Bass

The Ampeg ADA4 is a faithful recreation of the original Dan Armstrong “Plexi” bass from the late 1960s. The maple ADA4 neck features 24 frets inlaid into an Indian rosewood fingerboard, which when combined with the unique diamond cut acrylic double cutaway body allows a full 2 octave access clear of the body. Custom interchangeable pickups by Kent Armstrong use a unique stacked design where the TONE control mixes the treble and bass coils for a depth of tone that belies the instruments 30” scale. Pickups included are Bright Bass and Deep Bass.
